Minutes of the thirteenth AGM held 17^th May 2014

Present

Committee members Jenny Richardson, Tony Harris, Mandy McGreal, Mike Lewis, Christine Lewis

Also present -40 members of the group plus Mary Jo Harris and Mark Richardson

Apologies:  received from committee members Chris Salt and Joyce Walker and from group members John and Sheila Smith, Pam and Lindsey Bowler, Carolyn Smith and Guy Wheatcroft

Minutes of the previous AGM held on 18^th May 2013 were available for all members to read.  Proposed as a true record of the meeting by Lee Bannister and seconded by Mary Jo Harris

Group organisers report  Jenny welcomed everyone and thanked them for attending.  She read out the group organisers report highlighting the previous twelve months events which included a very snowy meeting in Mickleover, the AGM at the Cedar Tree Hotel in Rugeley, an afternoon tea in Anslow and a cookery demonstration by Drossa in Tutbury.   She thanked other members of the committee and asked anyone with an e-mail who gets mail by post to send the group their e-mail address in order to save postage.  She announced the groups three forthcoming meetings 

Treasurer’s report  The balance sheet for 2013--2014 was presented.  The closing balance was £583.42 which is £38.47 up on the previous year.  Main expenses are the hire of venues and postage although the group still have sufficient postage stamps for at least two more mailings.  Main receipts are from coffee monies and raffles.  The report was proposed by Paul Gardner and seconded by Sue Cliff

Election of new committee The current committee all stood down and were all re-elected en-masse.  Proposed by Gordon Olivant, seconded by Paul Gardner

Saturday 16^th May 2015.  Tutbury Village Hall

The meeting then closed and all attendees enjoyed a cookery demonstration from Glebe Farm followed by the opportunity to purchase some gluten free products.
