As many of you will know, that is those members that are also members of Coeliac UK, they have recently updated their advice regarding future events in 2021. They have advised that they prefer that we do not arrange any indoor events until at least November 2021. In view of this advice, we, the committee, met on Saturday 7th August 2021, to discuss this. 

The committee feel that in line with Coeliac UK’s wishes and current government advice regarding Covid, that we go along with their advice. So, we will not now be holding our AGM this year. We have arranged with the hall we booked to carry forward our booking until 2022. We also feel, that as September approaches, arranging any events outside is problematic, particularly as regard the weather. With this in mind, we, the committee have decided not to plan any events for 2021. Instead, we will look forward to welcoming all our members back to our AGM and events in 2022. 

We hope you accept our decision which is made in everyone’s best interests. As disappointing as this is, we feel that it is the most sensible and safest course of action.
