Chocolate brownies
- 50 gm good quality gluten free chocolate
- 100 gm butter
- 20 gm caster sugar
- 2 eggs whisked
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 75 gm ground almonds
- 110 gm chopped walnuts
- ½ teaspoon gluten free baking powder
- Pre heat oven to 180c/350F/gas 4
- Line and grease a 9 inch (23 cms) tin (one with a loose bottom if possible).
- Melt chocolate
- Cream butter and sugar well. Add eggs, vanilla and chocolate and beat
- Stir in rest of the ingredients
- Spread mixture in tin
- Bake for 30/35 minutes
- Leave to cool before cutting
