A warm welcome to the Bath and West Wiltshire Local Group.

We are a friendly and active Local Group and meet several times a year, normally in Bath. Our Members come from Bath and the surrounding area - some as far afield as Devizes, Wells and  Chippenham There is no membership fee.

Our aim is to support all people with coeliac disease and their families and to raise awareness of the condition. Our Local Group meetings give the newly diagnosed an opportunity to meet others, form friendships and share information and practical advice.

The group is open to all ages (we have a small number of children with coeliac who attend regularly) and to sufferers of Dermatitis Herpetiformis and those with no formal diagnosis of coeliac.

We have cookery demonstrations from leading gluten-free companies as well as presentations from healthcare professionals, a twice yearly meal at Bath Catering College and in December every year we meet for a festive meal in a local eatery. Our AGM takes place in March and we hold another meeting in October.

We also hold a Gluten-free Food Fair every year usually in November. A good opportunity to buy some gluten free goodies.

We are always open to suggestions from our Members as to future events.

You are most welcome to attend any of our meetings and please feel free to bring someone with you, especially if you are attending a meeting for the first time.
