Macsween gluten free haggis kofta kebabs
A delicious alternative to the traditional gluten free haggis, neeps and tatties.

Ingredients
- 300g (10½oz) Macsween gluten free haggis
- 300g (10½oz) minced Scottish lamb or beef
- 1 tsp (5g) finely chopped red chilli
- 50g (1½oz) finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp (5g) cumin powder
- ½ tsp turmeric
- 2 tsp (10g) coriander powder
- ½ tsp cinnamon powder
- 2 tsp (10g) fresh coriander chopped
- 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
- Maldon sea salt and freshly milled black pepper
- 2 tbsp (30ml) vegetable oil for cooking koftas

Method
- Remove the outer casing from the haggis, cut off 300g, crumble the haggis and add lamb mince
- Add the onion, chilli, garlic and coriander mix in the spices until well blended, season
- Divide into 8 x 80g balls; roll out each ball to form a sausage, place in the fridge to firm up
- Heat the grill to high heat
- Thread the koftas onto 8 skewers, brush with oil and season
- Grill until cooked through and piping hot
- Place the koftas kebabs on the plate, garnish with chopped mint
- Serve with basmati rice, flat breads and natural yogurt.
