Spicy meatballs
You can use minced chicken, turkey or pork instead of beef if you prefer

Ingredients
- 250g (9oz) minced beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed and chopped
- 1 tsp (5g) mild or medium curry powder*
- 1 tsp (5g) ground cumin
- ½ tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp (15g) fresh coriander, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- 50g (2oz) fresh gluten free breadcrumbs*
- 1 tbsp (15ml) olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
- Freshly ground pepper
- Cocktail sticks

Method
- Heat oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas mark 4
- Put the mince into a mixing bowl. Add the onions, garlic, curry powder, cumin, paprika, coriander and seasoning, then mix well
- Thoroughly mix in the beaten egg and breadcrumbs, you may find it easier to do this with your hands
- Divide the meat mixture into 20 small pieces and roll into balls in the palm of your hands
- Heat the oil in the frying pan over a medium heat and add the meatballs
- Cook them for 5 minutes, turning until golden brown. Remove them from the pan and place them on to an oven tray
- Bake for 15-20 minutes
- Remove from the oven, drain on kitchen paper and cool. Add a cocktail stick to each meatball and serve with a dip of your choice
