Chilli Con Carne
A yummy winter warming dish to keep you cosy on those chilly winter evenings!

Ingredients
- 500g (18oz) minced beef
- 400g (14oz) tin of chopped tomatoes
- Small tin of sweetcorn
- Handful of mushrooms
- 1 onion
- 400g (14oz) tin of kidney beans
- 1 tsp (5g) mixed herbs
- 1 tsp (5g) ground cumin
- 1 tsp (5g) mild or hot chilli powder
- Couple of squares of plain chocolate*

Method
- Chop mushrooms and the onion into bite size pieces
- Fry the minced beef, onions and mushrooms in frying pan. (Drain off the oil from the frying pan)
- Add a tin of chopped tomatoes, sweetcorn, mushrooms, kidney beans, chocolate and the herbs and spices to the cooked minced beef
- Cook until all ingredients heated through
- Serve with brown or white rice.
