Fruit Crumble
This recipe makes a delicious fruit crumble perfect served with ice cream, cream or custard.

Ingredients
- 75g (3oz) brown rice flour
- 25g (1oz) dried milk powder
- 25g (1oz) ground almonds
- 1 level tsp (5g) baking powder*
- 40g (1½oz) soft margarine
- 50g (2oz) brown sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1 large or 2 small Bramley apples
- 100g (3½oz) blackberries or other soft fruit or rhubarb and apple
- sugar to sweeten fruit

Method
- Mix all of the dry crumble ingredients together, except the sugar
- Rub in the margarine to make a crumbly mixture
- Stir in the sugar
- In to a shallow baking dish, slice the fruit and add some sugar to sweeten
- Then spread the crumble evenly over the top
- Bake the crumble at 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4 until lightly browned
- Serve with your choice of ice cream or custard.
