Fruit Pastries
This easy-to-make open apple danish makes a great breakfast or snack-on-the-go throughout the day. Why not try with pears or peaches?

Ingredients
- 375g ready-rolled gluten free puff pastry*
- 1tbsp semi-skimmed milk
- 3 Braeburn apples
- 1 1/2tbsp soft brown sugar
- 1/2tsp ground cinnamon
- 2tsp icing sugar, for dusting

Method
- Preheat the oven to 200C/180C fan/Gas Mark 6.
- Unroll the pastry, and cut into 6 equal rectangles. Place on a baking sheet and brush with milk.
- Half and core the apples, then cut into thin slices. Arrange half an apple on each rectangle of pastry, and sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon over the apple and pastry.
- Bake for 12-15 mins until golden and cooked though. Dust with icing sugar and serve.
