Gluten Free Chocolate Cake
A gluten free chocolate cake from Panasonic, moist and rich, great for all occasions.

Ingredients
- 200g gluten free self-raising flour*
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- ½ tsp gluten free baking powder*
- 2 tbsp dark cocoa powder
- 140g soft brown sugar
- 2 tbsp syrup
- 2 medium eggs
- 150ml vegetable oil
- 150ml milk
- 150ml double cream
- 150g milk chocolate*

Method
- Preheat oven to 150°C/ 300°F/ Gas Mark 6
- Put all ingredients in to a bowl, mix until they are blended together and divide between the two lined cake tins.
- Place in the preheated oven and cook for 35-40 minutes.
- Leave to cool.
- Whip the double cream and use it to sandwich the two cakes together.
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave on high for 1 minute and spread to decorate the top of the cake. Top with toppings of choice e.g. strawberries for Valentines or Mini Eggs for Easter.
