Hot Chocolate stirrers

Ingredients

  • 600g (21oz) chocolate of your choice
  • oil for greasing
  • your favourite toppings for sprinkling (hundreds and thousands, chocolate buttons, marshmallows or any other toppings you like)

Method

  1. Break up your chocolate into pieces and place in a heatproof bowl. Put the chocolate in a bowl and heat in the microwave for 30 second intervals until runny, stirring in between. Or place your bowl over a pan of gently simmering water and leave to melt, stirring occasionally
  2. Brush the silicone baking pan with the cooking oil
  3. Pour the melted chocolate into the chocolate silicone moulds, put a small wooden spoon (available from craft shops) or lolly stick in the middle of each and sprinkle your favourite toppings around it
  4. Put the moulds in the fridge to set overnight
  5. Once cooled, pull the chocolate coated spoons or lolly sticks out of the silicone moulds, wrap each in cellophane tied with strings, and write a tag.
