Cranberry Sauce

This simple cranberry sauce is great for Christmas and can be made up to a week in advance and then saved in the fridge until needed.

Ingredients

  • 200g fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 75g sugar
  • 75ml orange juice
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • ½ tsp cinnamon 

Method

  1. Place all the ingredients into a pan and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally. Cook for 5-10 minutes or until the cranberries are soft.
  2. Transfer to a bowl and leave to cool. The mixture will thicken as it cools.
