Your Coeliac UK Food Information Service: Important Update

We’re committed to continuously improve our food and drink information across our print and digital services. Earlier this year, we shared that we were working on some important updates for our Food Information Service.
Our digital Food Information Service is updated daily and provides information on over 190,000 products and their suitability status for a gluten free diet.
We are in the process of migrating to a new data platform for the service. In order to complete the migration we will need to temporarily pause the product search and barcode scanning functions available on our website and within our Live Well Gluten Free app. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
What this means for you
From 8 March 2025, you will not be able to access product information on our Live Well Gluten Free app or website until further notice. We’re working extremely hard behind the scenes with our data and technology partners to limit this service down time. We will be in touch again soon with more detail of what’s coming when. While the improvements are in development, you will still be able to access the following resources on our website to help you with your gluten free diet:
- Ready made lists for popular searched items
- Seasonal lists
- Prescribable products information
- Monthly updates to our printed Food and Drink Guide
- Food Alerts on gluten free product recalls and withdrawals
- Guidance on understanding food labels and how to choose the right foods
And don’t forget that our Helpline team is available here and on 0333 332 2033 for any product queries you may have.
