Running from 1-31 May, Awareness Month 2024 is about the impact of undiagnosed coeliac disease on people's lives.
1 in 100 people in the UK have coeliac disease, but only 36% are diagnosed. That leaves a staggering 500,000 people suffering with confusing symptoms. Whether it’s stomach pain or brain fog, unexplained anaemia or diarrhoea, coeliac disease affects everyone differently. It can have a huge effect on a person’s day to day life. We need to find those missing 500,000 people and get them on the road to recovery. That's why we're spending the whole of May raising awareness and encouraging people to take our online self-assessment. You can help! Sign up for a pack below and spread the word about the emotional impact and symptoms of coeliac disease.
You can use your pack however you like to raise awareness. Why not hold an event at your work, school, or within your local community?
Each pack contains:
- A3 posters
- Leaflets
- Postcards
Each item provides information about the symptoms of coeliac disease and shows where to go for help.
