Upcoming events in Basingstoke & further afield
We hope you are well and have been enjoying the sunny weather!
We wanted to share with you some upcoming events later this month which have been organised by the Youth Group of the Buckinghamshire Coeliac local group. In particular, this includes an event aimed at coeliac teenagers.
- Saturday 24 June, 6pm – Top Gun Maverick outdoor cinema (WD3 5SL), age 12+
- Sunday 25 June at 2.30pm – Wendover Woods (HP22 5NQ) family social
For those who prefer not to travel so far, we have our next local coffee morning on Saturday 1 July at Waitrose café in Basingstoke and a summer picnic at Eastrop Park in Basingstoke on Saturday 15 July. Family social near Aylesbury - Sunday 25 June

A family social where coeliac 0-17 year olds can meet others just like themselves & collect a pre-booked free GF food goody bag.
Pre-booking your coeliac’s goody bag is essential, please email coeliacsbucksyouth@gmail.com confirming the number of coeliac 0-17 year olds you are bringing.
Siblings welcome but only the coeliac gets a goodie bag at 2:30pm.
All under 17s must be accompanied by an adult (this is not a drop-&-go event).
After meeting up at 2:30, at 2:45pm different age groups will split off to do different activities, older ones can do table tennis/walk/adventure trail & younger ones can stay in the play area by the entrance or do the Gruffalo or Zog trail etc.
Look out for the sunflower & white fabric Coeliac UK sign at the 2:30-2:45pm meeting point near the pay stations where the pre-booked goodie bags will be given out. 0-17 year olds must be accompanied by their parents/carers at all times.
There is a café and ice cream van but no GF eating research has been carried out on any food sold on site.
