Coffee morning with SGM

Our next coffee morning is on Saturday 18 February and it will include a short Special General Meeting (SGM).

You may remember that when we held our AGM last summer we didn’t have enough Coeliac UK members present to have a quorum. As a result since then we have been unable to operate as a fully functioning group and we have been limited in the type of events we have been able to organise.

Coeliac UK have now advised us that in order to continue as a local group we need to hold an SGM. 

We will have a brief SGM as part of our next coffee morning at Waitrose in Basingstoke (RG21 4YY) on Saturday 18 February. This will enable us to ensure the continuation of the North Hampshire Local Group.

The coffee morning will be from 10.30 to 12 as usual and we will have the SGM from 11 to 11.15.

There will be the option of joining the SGM on Zoom for those who are not able to be with us in person and we will send the link to anyone who confirms that they would like to do that. For those of you going to the family meet up that morning there will also be the option of joining on Zoom.

We do hope you will be able to join us as if we do not get enough Coeliac UK members at the SGM to have a quorum our Local Group will no longer be able to continue.
