Group Future Update
UPDATE ON NORTH HAMPSHIRE GROUP
Hello!
You may remember that in May we sent out details of the local group AGM we were planning for Saturday 25th June. We’d like to update you on what’s happening with the group as a result of that meeting.
We haven’t had to hold an AGM before as we are a relatively new group and during the pandemic the Charity Commission agreed that these could be postponed. Now things are getting back to normal all local groups are required by Coeliac UK to hold an AGM and, in order for the meeting to be valid, it has to have a quorum of 10 Coeliac UK members present. Unfortunately, we did not have enough members present for a quorum and this means that we are unlikely to be able to continue operating as a group in the way we have been doing up to now. We are in touch with Coeliac UK about how we go forward from here and we will let you know what our next steps will be when we hear from them.
