It has been brought to our attention that tonight’s Trust Me I’m a Doctor programme will be looking at the gluten-free diet and if it has any benefits to people other than those diagnosed with coeliac disease.

We are hoping that the programme provides factually correct information about coeliac disease and highlights that people should not change their diet until they are tested. We are pleased to see on their website that they have included links to our website and online assessment to ensure viewers can obtain further information to aid them on their diagnosis journey and gluten-free diet. The programme will be broadcast on BBC 2 at 8pm on 8 September and then available on iPlayer.
