Labelling changes to prescription products

15 May 2014

Manufacturers who have previously labelled their products as ‘wheat-free gluten-free’ are now required to re label these as gluten-free. The products have not changed, however, but have been renamed. This has triggered an update to the clinical software systems in the UK which are now showing the products to be unavailable. The products are there but with a different name and these can be referenced on the manufacturer’s website.

You can see more on the manufacturers affected by this in our Food and Drink Directory updates.
