Gluten-free Chef of the Year competition featured in the news

Our 6 finalists have been annouced and the media are spreading the word.
The competition comprises two categories; ‘Gluten-free Chef of the Year’ for those who cook for a living and are over 23 and the ‘Up and Coming Gluten-free Chef of the Year’ for those who are training and under 23.
Entries have now been shortlisted and our finalists are:
Gluten-free Chef of the Year:
Jose Manuel De Freitas, from Jersey the Second Chef at the Silver Springs Care Home
Tom Thextonf rom London and the Head Chef at The Wild Thexton
Viktorija Bernataviciute, from Northampton, Sous Chef at the Wig and Pen in Northampton
Up and Coming Gluten-free Chef of the Year:
Beathan James from Corby, Northamptonshire studying VRQ Level 2 at Northampton College
Christian Dean Young from Wellingborough, Northamptonshire studying professional chef level 2 at Northampton College
James Barnard from Barton Upon Humber, studying Level 3 NVQ professional cookery at Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education
The live cook off takes place on 12 November.
