Fazal’s recalls five confectionery products due to undeclared wheat

Fazal’s is recalling five confectionery products because they contain wheat (gluten) which is not mentioned on the label. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with coeliac disease or an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten.

Product: Fazal’s Rasgulla
Pack size: 380g
‘Best Before’ end date:  20 April 2017

Product: Fazal’s Jalebi
Pack size: 350g
‘Best Before’ end date:  10 April 2017

Product: Fazal’s Badana
Pack size: 350g
‘Best Before’ end date: 10 April 2017

No other Fazal’s products are known to be affected.

These products contain wheat (gluten) making it a possible health risk for anyone with coeliac disease or an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten.

Our advice to consumers

If you have bought any of the above products and have coeliac disease or an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten do not eat them. Instead return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund.
