E H Booth & Co Ltd is recalling two batches of their Booths Bombay Mix because they contain barley (gluten), which is not mentioned in the allergen information on the product label. This makes the product a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to barley (gluten).

The products being recalled:

Pack size: 500g

Best before date: 31 December 2014 and 14 February 2015

No other E H Booths & Co Ltd products are known to be affected.

If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to barley or gluten, do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store where you bought it.

The company has recalled the product from sale and has covered the allergen information on the affected product with stickers carrying the correct information.
