Action taken

The company has issued a product recall from its customers and point of sale notices are displayed in stores where the affected product was sold. As this product has a licence to use the Crossed Grain symbol we are extremely concerned by this recall. We are urgently investigating how this product has become contaminated. We are in discussions with the company to review their processes to ensure that all of their products comply with the legal requirements for gluten-free labelling and meet the strict standards in place to continue using the Crossed Grain symbol.
