Coeliac UK inspires James Robinson's first ever marathon attempt
22 April 2016
35 year old Cheltenham resident James Robinson will be running his first ever marathon this Sunday, in an effort to raise funds and awareness for Coeliac UK.
When his six year old daughter was diagnosed at the age of three, he came to see the effects of coeliac disease first hand, which has motivated the decision to embark on his very first marathon and raise £750 for the Charity.
James’ goal is to finish the 26 mile course in what he calls a “respectable time” and we’re sure you’ll join us in wishing him the best of luck. We’re incredibly grateful for all of his hard work and dedication.
It’s inspiring efforts like this that really get our message out there to reach more undiagnosed people with coeliac disease. Want to find out what you can do? Get involved with our Awareness Week, taking place from 9-15 May or contact the Fundraising Team at fundraising@coeliac.org.uk.
