We are delighted to announce that Coeliac UK has been awarded with the Investing in Volunteers award (IiV), the UK quality standard for organisations involving volunteers in their work. The standard assesses the quality of volunteer management across all roles, looking into the effectiveness of the charity’s work with volunteers. It is focused on ensuring volunteers receive the best possible support during their time with Coeliac UK regardless of where they live or what they are doing.

Achieving the standard publically demonstrates our commitment to offer outstanding service to all our current and future volunteers, and how much we value the 1,400 people who volunteer for us – from our local group committee members to campaigners, researchers, work place volunteers, office volunteers and Member 2 Member supporters.
