With the brilliant support of the Swansea Local Voluntary Support Group, volunteer Shelly Evans has recently set up a fantastic parent child afternoon at a play centre in Port Talbot for local parents of children with coeliac disease. This has provided a unique opportunity for parents to network, support each other and share experiences in an informal setting while their children enjoy supervised play. This is now a regular event taking place on the last Tuesday of every month, with delicious gluten-free food provided.
