Asda is recalling certain dates of its Free From 5 Caramel and Free From 5 Chocolate Wafers.

Asda is recalling certain dates of its Free From 5 Caramel and Free From 5 Chocolate Wafers, which are labelled as gluten-free, because gluten (wheat) has been detected in higher levels than allowed in some of these products. If you’re allergic to or intolerant of wheat or gluten, do not eat these products. The Food Standards Agency has issued an Allergy Alert.

The products being recalled are:

Asda is recalling the affected batch from sale. Customer notices will be displayed in stores, explaining why the product is being recalled.

If you have bought the above product(s) and are allergic to or intolerant of wheat or gluten do not eat it. Instead return it to your local Asda store for a full refund.

No other Asda products are known to be affected.
