Allergy Alert - KETTLE Baked Sweet Potato Chips

We have been notified by Kettle Foods Limited that they have identified a potential for consumer confusion in one of the on-pack statements on the back of the pack.
The ingredient list declares correctly that there is wheat in one of the ingredients but there is also a statement ‘no gluten containing ingredients’.
The packs affected are:

- 16 June 2014 (4050 and 4051)
- 21 June 2014 (4057)
- 28 June 2014 (4063 and 4064)
- 5 July 2014 (4070)
Although levels of gluten present are low, there is a very low risk that susceptible consumers may experience an adverse reaction to the product.
The product has been withdrawn from sale and the packaging is being amended.
